PIPES |

WHAT IT IS
The structure of the multi-calor pipes is made of 5 layers [PE-X-Al-PE-X], making up the multilayer technology, which includes and underlines all the positive features of the combination between metal and plastics.
The basic material of the internal layer (in contact with the fluid) and the external one is the cross-linked polyethylene (PEX), whose features are a strong resistance to high temperatures, to high pressure and a long time endurance. Furthermore, this material is absolutely organoleptic with potable fluids for human consumption.
In the last ten years, aquatechnik has been supporting the development of the multilayer technology, such as to allow the introduction of the safety fittings.
The technology improvement has run over all the production steps: more resistant adhesives, care for the mechanical resistance, aluminium layer with higher performances and easier to weld, till the setting-up of the whole process, to grant the best quality standard.
This new philosophy took the multi-calor pipes to the top of world classification, also thanks to the good balance between cost and quality.
|
The multi-calor pipes are classified according to UNI 10954, class 1; thanks to their performances, the multi-calor is the only pipe system which can be used with the different ranges of aquatechnik fittings:
• safety-pol (in PPSU – polyfenisolfone)
• safety-metal (in PPSU and galvanized
brass alloy)
• press-fitting (in galvanized brass and
stainless steel)
• com-press (in galvanized brass alloy)
• valu-technik (heating-cooling radiant
panel system, low temperatures)
The multi-calor pipes are also available in pre-insulated rolls. |

ADVANTAGES
• great resistance to high working temperatures and pressures
• chemical stability and safety to potable fluids for human
consumption
• no corrosive phenomena
• reliability and long time life of plants
• malleability and ductility by manual processing
• fluid flowability and lower pressure drops
• lower thermal leakage
• cheap installation and transportation to the working seat
• impermeability to oxygenated fluids
• simple and safe junctions
• less processing rejections.
The multi-calor pipes can be used for all the hydro-sanitary
heating, conditioning systems and for installations with radiant
panels and several applications more, allowing material saving. |
 |
UTILIZATION FIELD
The multi-calor pipes are mainly used in the following fields:
house building:
• conveyance nets, sanitation, heating, cooling and conditioning
systems, garden irrigation
industrial:
• conveyance nets and sanitation, heating and cooling systems,
compressed-air nets, power to hydraulic circuits of machine tools
services sector:
• shops, laboratories, medical studies, schools, gyms, restaurants,
public utilities, hothouses, farms and so on. |
 |
WORKING CONDITIONS
The multi-calor pipes can work by a max. temperature of 95° C at 10 bar pressure, such as by low temperatures (less than 0° C), through the use of a special antifreeze. |
